A lot of two wheeled action and some dorking in this one, but see, five years later and that manual to bluntslide, with the addition of a “second landing”, would be the thing of the day on Jutjuub instead of a dorktrick. That’s how skateboarding “progresses” in the third millennium (bitter sigh…).

The Chrome Ball Incident keeps on rolling and in the recent Eric Dressen post this Jimmy’Z ad warped me right back to 1988. I think the ad was in the very first Thrasher I bought and the picture used to get me so amped to skate. I still haven’t learned method airs but when I saw the photo today that exact same urge to get out and get on board filled me up the same way it did nearly 22 years ago. Now do Eric the honor and watch him give the 1989 video Speed Freaks the reason for it’s name.
